It has been a great week fishing at the middle grounds. All week the shoal has been loaded with with butterfish and anchovies. The diamond jigging was excellent on mainly bluefish to 10 lbs, though occasionally a nice bass was caught up to 20 lbs. The jigging slowed a bit friday, though we did catch a decent amount of big porgies to make the day. 

Friday evening saw a few great shots of fish but otherwise the bait was scattered and the jigging was slower. The evening porgy bite was excellent though.
