My 11 year old son, his friend and I went out on 11/08/11
on the Election Day special half day trip. I just wanted to
express my gratitude to the Captain and First Mate. Both of them
were wonderful to fish with. I have been fishing for over 30 years and
have been on more party boats than I can count and yours was by far the
best experience. The first Mate did an outstanding job with the kids,
both being patient and humorous. No matter how many times they spun a
³bird¹s nest², the mate was happy to assist. Additionally, the Vessel was clean and orderly.
Thanks again for a wonderful and productive trip. We will surely be back
again.

My daughter’s wish for her 23rd birthday was to go
fishing. Four of us boarded the night
cruise on a balmy August evening. This
was the first time I’d ever held a rod and reel and I was a little apprehensive
that I’d do something wrong. Matteo was
crew head that night, and he was hard working, helpful, humorous and
successful. Young James his mate was
equally polite, and made sure the boat was kept clean and clear of gear and
accident free and patiently assisted beginners like myself with technique and
baiting and getting that fish on board.
All of a sudden my line was running, running, running - and I was pulling, pulling, pulling and
laughing at the same time. I caught the
largest fish that night! We all watched
as Matteo (who can fillet a Porgy in 12 seconds) get the fish ready to go to
take home.
I highly recommend the Celtic Quest and their crew. They run a clean and organized boat, and the
crew is very professional yet also warm.
Their pricing is highly competitive.
The trip itself was glorious, with the Milky Way bringing us out and a
sleepy Long Island coastline calling us home to port.

Went fluke fishing on your boat this past Thursday, 6-330, with 2 buddies we're all retired). We were all in agreement that the Celtic Quest is the best we've ever been on. John and Mark are great mates - changing rigs for us and trying things until we were all pulling them in one after another! Paul captained the boat like a bounty hunter and found fish all day long. Spotless vessel, great crew, great day of fishing!!!

I will say that the fishing experience on the Celtic
Quest is the best I've had!!!!!!!!!
On 5/25 we fished for Porgies(4:45pm trip). It was a total bail job, nonstop action.
Capt.Chris and mate Caroline were great. The night took a bad turn for me when slippery hands put
a very expensive Rod and Reel overboard. In seconds the crew were on the stern working feverishing
to recover my outfit. They just did not give up. Finally, out of the deep, my
rod and reel were recovered. Many thanks to Pete and the rest of the crew.
I look forward to my next trip aboard the Celtic Quest
