Hello to you all! I hope this message finds you well after braving a long winter.

The boat is all ready to go, the sun is finally shining, the water has warmed up several degrees this week...it's time to go fishing!

We will start our season this Saturday, April 24 for blackfish. With the water temp now around the mid 40's, we should definitely start to see some very good blackfishing in the upcoming weeks. Last year, the best spring fishing was when the water temp was in the high 40's, which should not be too long from now.

Ill keep you posted so you don't miss the spring run! After all, its a long wait until the fall when the blackfish appear again. I don't know about you, but I certainly want to get in my blackfishing fix now to hold me over till October. I'm sure you all do too!
