The fluke bite has been very consistent still off B11 to Rocky
Point. Today 11 anglers had 27 keepers with a few nice ones to 6
lbs and well over 100 shorts off Mt Sinai. Straight bait rigs
have produced the best the past few days. We had similar results
over the weekend.
The porgy bite has been a little tough the past few days as the
fish are done spawning and have been on the move. But this
morning we did have one good drop off the beach to start the day
which is an encouraging sign. They have also started to settle
in off Old Field and Cranes along with some real nice sea bass.
It should get very good again any day now.
