The evening porgie bite has been a BAIL JOB the last two nights
and limits were not a problem on nice sized scup. Fishing
shallow with light tackle. Also many small bluefish and some
nice sea bass in the mix.
The day bottom fishing the last few days ranged from excellent
to just a pick fishing anywhere from Cranes to Rocky point. With
the lighter tides this week, the day should improve.
The day fluke bite slowed off the water tower, though yesterday
there was a ton of action off B11 with enough keepers to keep it
interesting.
